Every Friday you can look forward to posts on recipes with essential oils, diffusing combinations, and information on individual oils. I’m going to start with the oils in the Premium Starter Kit because that is the way that most people start their essential oils journey, and I want to give you the tools you need to know what to do with the oils you purchase. Haven’t purchased your starter kit yet? I’d love to be the person who helps you learn all about essential oils and their great applications, just click here to get started.
I love to keep Young Living’s Purification essential oil blend in stock in my home because it has so many uses! It is a blend of Citronella, Rosemary, Lemongrass, Tea Tree, Lavandin, and Myrtle oils.
*Diffuse purification to clear the air of smells from cooking, painting, or animal smells (just to name a few).…
*Put a couple of drops on a cotton ball and then put it at the bottom of your trash can (or diaper pail) before you put in a new bag. It will help with any smells.
*Add a drop or two to your A/C filter to freshen your home.
*Put a drop in the tub of your washing machine before adding detergent and clothes (works in the tub of HE front loaders too). You can also add a drop or two to some wool dryer balls in the dryer.
*A drop or two added to a cotton ball and then inserted into a pair of stinky shoes helps with the smell.
*Diffuse in a travel diffuser (like the USB or orb diffusers) in your car to help with lingering odors of fast food trips or your latest athletic event carpool.
*Apply topically to enjoy the outdoors annoyance free. You can even make a spray with witch hazel and purification.
*Apply topically to help calm irritation from bug bites or stings. (Remember to dilute as needed, especially with children or sensitive skin).
I have been diffusing Purification anytime I clean my home and especially before we have any home showings. I love the fresh smell of it and it really clears the air of any lingering smells. What is your favorite way to use Purification?
