How We Started Our Blog:
This blog is the creation of my mother (Penny) and I.  We often share recipes and tips or techniques for improving our health and life in general.  Often friends and family would ask us for the recipe to a dish or how we did various things (like organizing or gardening) and while we did share with them, we thought it would be a great idea to have all of our tips and tricks in one place to be able to refer to it.  We have always enjoyed reading other blogs online and learning from them, so we hoped we could contribute some great information that would help others do the same.  We are still figuring things out and learning as we go, but hopefully we are also helping others along the way.

Two Pieces of Advice For New Bloggers:
*My first piece of advice is to write about things you know and enjoy.  By sharing what you know, you will be able to help others learn something new and maybe even find something that makes their life easier.  By writing about things you enjoy, you will look forward to writing and sharing, and it will come through to your readers.

*My second piece of advice is to be consistent.  Post regularly, even if it is just once a week at first.  Eventually you will have people who are checking back to see if you’ve added something new to your blog.  If they know which days to check back, they will do so regularly and you’ll grow your audience.
